Local Insight, European Scale
Kepler has the largest research footprint in Continental Europe (ex Scandinavia). 50 research analysts cover over 500 stocks across 35 sectors. The research analysts are based in our offices in Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Madrid, Milan, Paris and Zurich.
Philosophy
Johannes Kepler, the 16th century German mathematician and astronomer, has been hailed as a contrarian and ‘the archetype of the inductive scientific genius’.
As a broker, Kepler’s empirical research seeks to challenge the consensus and to critically question the pronouncements of company managements. Grassroots research is our Unique Selling Proposition: our multi-local franchise is close to the companies under coverage, but also their non-quoted rivals, their customers, their suppliers, and, if relevant, the regulators and politicians. Our conviction is that company meetings produce sharper insights and more actionable ideas than traditional ‘maintenance’ research. Our traditional bottom-up approach is integrated into pan-European sector products. Dedicated Small & Mid cap product complements our Big Cap offering.
